The National Science Park of CUMT (CNUSP) is one of the 62 national university science parks jointly approved by Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Education. CNUSP is an integral part of national technological innovation system as well as a base for independent innovation.
Planned and initiated in October, 2000, CNUSP entered provincial university science park construction program in July, 2002, and was upgraded as national university Science Park in October, 2006.
CNUSP fully relies on the labs, intelligence, information and technology resources of CUMT, and enjoys series of funds and policy priorities from Xu Zhou municipal government. Its basic function is to transfer research achievements, incubate high-technology industries, and train innovative personnel. At the same time, CNUSP aims to fuse technique, capital, talents and market resources, constructing itself into a model park for the incubation, transfer, and growth of high-technology industries in the coming 3 to 5 years, integrating research institutes, scientific and technological enterprises as well as their service.
CNUSP covers an area of 3300 mu, including research and development section, incubation section, industrial transfer section, training section and public service section. |
