Liang Baohua ,Governor of JiangSu Province, inspected CNUSP on 8th, Sep, 2007. He inspectsed South Lake new campus of CUMT, gas and dust explosion testing laboratory and CUMT National University Science Park, and then heard the report of our university situation from Ge Shirong, President of CUMT.

     He emphasized that we should insist the relying on science and education to rejuvenate our nation, speed up the step to develop our university, give more research for making technological progresses, produce more achievements in scientific research,and bring up more talented persons for the modernization.

     Li Xiaomin ,secretary-general of JiangSu Province ,Wang Bingtai, director of the Education Department of JiangSu Province ,Xu Ming ,Cao Xingping , Liu Zhongda,leaders of Xuzhou government, Luo Chengxuan ,Zou Fangming ,Zhang Aishu ,Song Xuefeng,MaoXiexing,Cao Dexin,leaders of CUMT,Chen Ruqing and Zhou Shining, Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, participated in this activity.

     Liang Baohua listened to the report of our working from Ge Shirong, President of CUMT,and then ,they came CNUSP. At present, we have finished the first phase project of incubator area  construction and there are more than 170 incubating enterprises in our science park.. Since 2004, we have accumulated into  more than 150 scientific researchs.He said ,CUMT own the powerful capability of R & D,so we should Strive to foster more high-quality personnel. At the same time,we need go on emancipating our mind , innovating forms and fully showing our school's research strengths to promote the close combination of industry-study-research.,and it can help more scientific research to transform timely and make our scientific research to serve for people’s daily life.

     Liang Baohua also asked the authorities of xuzhou government to create well environment for carrying out innovations by scientific and technological personnel in the university , and give full play of the science and technology personnel resource advantages to promote development of the local economic.
